When are the trips scheduled?

If there’s wind, there’s probably a trip planned! The easiest way to find out about trips is to get on our email and text list. Sign up here.

Trips depart at either 9am or 1pm depending on conditions. Minimum of 3 people must sign-up for a trip to go. Space is limited, so please sign up in advance to reserve your spot.

Reservations for weekend trips and private trips requires 2 day notice. Call 305-401-8885 or email taxiboat@kitesafari.com to plan your trip now!

What if my trip is cancelled due to a change in wind/weather conditions?

If you paid for a space on a trip that had to be cancelled due to wind or weather, you can use the credit towards a trip of equal value in the future.

However, if you need to cancel for personal reasons, you must give notice by 3pm the day before your trip is scheduled  so we have time to notify somebody else on the waiting list.

How do I prepare for the trip? What should I bring?

After payment we will send you a confirmation email with the details on where/when to meet for your trip.

Departures / Arrivals are typically from CRANDON NORTH BEACH ( at our kite school ) or CRANDON MARINA ( 1 mile before )

Please arrive with only the kite struts inflated and bring any extra snacks, wetsuit/booties, sunscreen, towel, medicines or other personal items you may need for the trip. It is important to bring booties.
